As a child, I seem to have always had a mango shake with my meals. This drink is tasty, evocative, and also a man-go-crazy beverage. Easy to prepare and incredibly refreshing. Though less well-known than its cousins, the mango lassi and mango milkshake (both of which contain vanilla ice cream), this dish nevertheless tastes great and is simple to make. Simple mango milk
Always use ripe and sweet mangoes while making mango milk. The hue is light since I used banganappali mangoes in this recipe. Use Alphonso mangoes to make mango milk for a richer, more brighter color.
This beverage should be thinner and more fluid in consistency than a milkshake. For 1.5 cups of milk, I like to add 1/2 cup of chopped mangoes. However, you can slightly alter the ratio to suit your tastes.
This mango milk has a tiny quantity of saffron extract added for flavor. Cardamom powder or saffron threads are other options. Additionally, I recently added a couple pistachios.
You can also use coconut sugar, honey, or date syrup in place of sugar.
You may use coconut or almond milk to produce vegan mango milk.
This chilled mango milk can be prepared in advance. In the refrigerator, it keeps well for two days.
Making Mango Milk: A Recipe
- Peel the mangoes, remove the stone, and slice them coarsely mangoes, cut, for mango milk
- Combine it with 3 cups of milk and 3 teaspoons of sugar in a blender or mixer grinder jar. Mangoes, sugar, and milk are blended in a blender jar.
- Add some pistachios and, if used, saffron strands as well create mango milk
